キャッテリーのご紹介

千葉県我孫子市にあるエキゾチックショートヘアー専門キャッテリーです。
１５年前に生きた宝石のような優雅なペルシャに憧れ、
３年前からエキゾチックショートヘアーを専門にブリーディングするようになりました。
飼育面においては総合栄養フード以外に生肉・馬肉を中心に与え、
体調不良、出産時など固体管理が必要な場合を除き、ケージの中では飼わず
猫にストレスを感じさせない自由な環境で飼育しております。
ブリーディングにおいては問題が生じない組み合わせでの繁殖を心がけております。
日本のエキゾチックの血統書を見れば判りますが、血統をたどると親戚のような濃い血縁関係です。
特にバイカラーのエキゾチックにおいては、濃い血縁関係による弊害が顕著にあらわれ始めており、
ヘッドや顔の大きさ、首周りの太さ、目の色にいたるまで、海外のエキゾチックに比べ見劣りしてしまいます。
海外のようなエキゾチックを自分の手でブリーディングをしたい気持ちが高まり、
2013年からフランス・アメリカ・ロシア更には中国のブリーダーとコンタクトを取り始めましたが、
その中からエキゾチックでは世界的に最も有名なフランスのブリーダーである、
Frederic氏とValery氏から譲って頂ける事になり
2015年度からそのラインでブリーディングを開始しようと思っております。
最後にフランスのキャッテリーを簡単にご紹介させてご挨拶とさせていただきます。

当方の全ての仔猫は多発性嚢胞腎（PKD）には感染していない親猫から生まれた仔猫です。
当方の猫はPKDのスキャン検査を受けます。
ほぼ全ての猫は3世代に渡りPKDスキャン検査で陰性の結果を示しています
.購入希望者が仔猫の体質やその状態に関する質問をされた場合、
当方は必ずPKDの検査結果が親猫のPKDスキャン検査が陰性であったことと同時に、
仔猫の結果も間違いなく同様であることをお伝えしています。

 

Our cattery – Introduction

Specializing in the care of Exotic cats with individual love and attention,
we pride ourselves on the quality pet care in Abiko City, Chiba prefecture, Japan.
I became so much interested in breeding Persian cats that looked like living gemstones fifteen years ago.
I still love their look and personalities so much. Now, I focus on breeding Exotic cats exclusively.
Like the Persian, the Exotic cats are sweet, docile and quiet, but they are more active and curious than their
Persian siblings; they are friendly and have a calm personality, a large round head, large round eyes,
a short nose, full cheeks, and small ears with rounded tips. No wonder I had to include them in our lives!

As for the breeding, we feed our kittens not only well-balanced diets,
which are designed to have all the dietary requirements for the kittens,
but also feed them fresh meat as needed. As the cattery environment has an important effect on cats’
health, personality and temperament, we always watch out for: overcrowding,
kittens raised in cages, poor housekeeping, neglected litterboxes, unclean food or water.
Males have cages for them but in order to keep our kittens less constrained by
their spatial environment, we try to house kittens as much free as possible without using isolated facilities,
except for pregnant mother cats. Our breeding facilities are designed, constructed,
serviced and maintained in a way that provides a good health at all times.

Unfortunately, the pedigrees of some show cats in Japan indicate that many
of their forebears are too closely related; therefore,
it is quite possible that there are "bad" genes which produce less healthy kittens.
The limited gene-pool caused by continued inbreeding means that deleterious
genes become widespread and the breed loses. Accordingly, the inbreeding among bi-color
Exotic has resulted in much more phenotypic expression of deleterious genes than those in overseas.

The Exotic cats living abroad are so plush and beautiful to look at,
with the added benefit of being one of the more affectionate breeds.
This is the main reason I wanted to start breeding the Exotic similar to the ones seen overseas.
In 2013, I started contacting breeders in various countries including
France, USA, Russia and China. Out of those excellent breeders,
I have decided to obtain Exotic kittens by transfer from
Mr. Frederic and Mr. Valery, both of whom have been known as the most famous
Exotic cat breeders in the world. Hopefully, I will start breeding with their line of Exotic in 2015.
